SERVICE DESK SHIFT MANAGERS
PART-TIME
We have both day, night, and weekend shifts available at our Service Desk!

Service Desk Shift Mangers are the face of the Y, handle day-to-day operations of the front desk, and provide customer service to members and guests. Shift Managers take on a leadership role in the absence of the Service Desk Lead, Department Coordinator, or Department Director. They also possess a strong understanding of all YMCA programs and services and support Service Desk Attendants.

LIFEGUARD & SWIM INSTRUCTOR

We are hiring for our Lifeguard and Swim Instructor combo position!
​
Get the best of both worlds as a lifeguard and swim instructor! Applicants who are not lifeguard certified will begin as a swim instructor until LG Training can be completed.
​
Applicants must be at least 15 to apply and be able to pass a swimming/skills test and a lifeguard certification course. Training is provided for both job duties.
With shifts available for all availability, you can fit this job into your schedule easily! Bonuses available based on performance and certifications.

LIFEGUARD
PART-TIME
We are hiring lifeguards who will monitor pool activities and ensure member safety, among other duties. Lifeguards need to possess knowledge of rescue procedures and emergency medical procedures.

Many shifts are available including weekdays 4:45-9AM, 9AM-1PM, 1-4PM, 4-7PM, & 6-9PM. Weekends 6AM-10AM, 10AM-1:30PM, 1:30-5PM, & 4-8PM.

SWIM INSTRUCTOR

We are looking for instructors who are energetic, positive role models, and have experience teaching swim lessons. Our program is designed for children 6 months – 16 years of age. Onsite training will be available at time of hire.

Swim Instructors plan and instruct swimming lessons in accordance with YMCA guidelines. Applicants must be at least 16 to apply.

CHILD WATCH ASSOCIATE

We are looking for energetic Child Watch Associates to join our drop-in child watch team! Available positions in both morning and evening. Shift hours are as follows:
Morning: 8:45AM-2:15PM
Evening: 4:45PM-8:15PM M-Th.

This position requires employees to supervise, engage, and interact with children ages 0-8.

SEASONAL RESIDENCY
Triangle Y Camp counselors learn leadership, teamwork, communication, and problem solving skills in our diverse sleep away camp environment. Applicants must be able to live on-site throughout the summer, including staff training in Late May/Early J une, and have a passion for working with kids.

This position requires staff to supervise, engage, and interact with youth participating in our summer residency camp located near Garrison, ND as well as assist with planning and implementing the program activities.

Triangle Y Camp cooks oversee, coordinate, and supervise all aspects of the operation of the camp kitchen and food service in our diverse sleep away camp environment. Applicants must be able to live on-site throughout the summer, including staff training in Late May/Early J une, and have a passion for working with kids.

This position requires staff to engage, and interact with youth participating in our summer residency camp located near Garrison, ND as well as assist with planning and implementing the program activities alongiside kitchen duties.
Applicants must be able to live on-site throughout the summer (meals and lodging included), have prior experience in food services management and preparation for large groups, be at least 20, and pass a background check.

TRAINING CENTER ATTENDANTS

The Training Center is hiring Wellness Associates to join our YMCA team!

Hiring for these shifts:
Openings: M-F: 1pm - 6pm, 6pm - 11pm
Weekends: Sat: 6am - 9am, 9am to 1pm, 5pm to 9pm. Sun: 6am - 10am, 10am - 5pm. 5pm - 9pm.

Wellness Associates monitor the Training Center floor, enforce YMCA and Training Center policies to keep members and guests safe, ensure machines, equipment, and Training Center areas are kept clean, and provide assistance with cardio and weight equipment as needed.
​
All applicants must be at least 16, display friendly customer service skills, and have basic knowledge of proper form in regard to utilizing cardio and weight equipment.

CROSSFIT COACH

We are adding certified CrossFit Coaches to our team! This position leads CrossFit classes for different skill levels as well as motivate participants through positive encouragement and active participation.

GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTORS

Do you love working out in group fitness classes and possess leadership skills? Why not get your workout and get paid while doing it by becoming a group fitness instructor!

Currently seeking morning strength and cycling Instructors, however, instructors are needed for all land and aquatics fitness classes, specifically those with backgrounds in strength, pilates, yoga, and aqua classes. Select classes may require additional training.

All applicants must be at least 16. Pay is dependent upon the length of the class. An additional 15 minutes is added onto each class taught for prep and teardown.

All Climbing Wall Attendants assist and ensure the safety of climbers who attend the climbing wall.
