LOCKER ROOMS
Adult Locker Rooms
Adults over 18 and out of high school can enjoy the roomy adult locker rooms. Both the men's and women's boast a hot tub, dry sauna, and a steam room as well.
Family Locker Rooms
Men or women are able to bring their young children, or other adults who may need assistance, into the designated locker rooms to help them change. The Family Locker Rooms are also equipped with a dry sauna that we ask parents to use cautiously with young children.
Special Needs Locker Room
The Special Needs Locker Room is a co-ed alternative to the Family Locker Rooms and is handicap accessible for our members who have diverse abilities and needs.
Dry Sauna, Steam Room, & Hot Tub
The Adult Locker Rooms are equipped with a dry sauna, steam room, and a hot tub; while the family locker rooms have a dry sauna. Children are not allowed to go into the Adult Locker Room to use these amenities.
Locker Rooms
We have seven locker rooms available: Men’s adult, boys youth, male family, women’s adult, girls youth, female family, and a special needs locker room. Please use the appropriate locker room for your age or physical ability. Parents, if your child does not require your assistance, please encourage them to use the youth locker rooms. All locker rooms lead directly into the pool area.

Adult Locker Rooms are for use by women and men age 18 and over and out of high-school. Please note that children and infants are not to use the adult locker rooms.

Family Locker Rooms
We have two family locker rooms, one male, and one female. These are reserved for members 14 years of age and older. Children 9 and under must be accompanied in the locker room by a parent or guardian. Adults without children or those not assisting another adult in changing are asked to use the adult locker rooms. Boys and girls older than 6 years of age may not go into the opposite gender locker rooms.

Youth Locker Rooms
Due to renovations, we currently only have one Youth Locker Room for females only. Besides staff, only children age 9 -13 are allowed in the Youth Locker Room.

Special Needs Locker Room
The family/special needs locker room is a co-ed locker room designed for members who medically require the assistance of an aide, those who have a physical disability, or families with young children. The Special Needs Locker Room is also handicap accessible.

Kit Locker fees are non refundable. The YMCA will provide you with a lock for a Kit Locker.

Free for day use - Please use a lock to prevent theft of property. Locks can also be purchased at the Service Desk for $5. Any lock left on overnight will be cut and items brought to service desk.
Lockers are available for daily use during your visit to the Y.

Valuables Guidelines
Members are asked to leave their valuables at home. If you do bring valuables, please use the personal lockers located in the training center or secure your belongings in a locker in the appropriate locker room. Locks are strongly advised and are for sale at the Service Desk for $5.

Coats can be hung in the locker room or on the coat rack in the Training Center. The Minot Family YMCA is not responsible for lost or stolen property.

Locker Room Policies​

We require that individuals and families use their designated locker room for the safety of our youth and privacy of our members.

Usage of cell phones for any purpose is prohibited in locker rooms. This includes texting.

Day Lockers are free for member use, however you must provide your own lock or borrow one from the front desk. We do not allow overnight locker usage on day lockers. All items must be brought home at the end of the day, including the lock. This helps us maintain a safe and secure facility.

The Y is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. If you have left an item in a day locker overnight contact the Service Desk to retrieve lost and found items. All content that is not recovered by two weeks will be donated to a local charity.

Small towels are provided for use during your workout free of charge, however we do not offer a bath towel service. You must bring your own or buy one from the service desk for $5.
